I wish I could
Lose my path and forget my way
But I know too much
Way too much
Too much for the length of the day
Then there she goes…
Darlin I been handlin these freight loads
Afraid I’m losin track of where the day goes
Workin all the time make jack a dull dude
But if I don’t then jack and jill don’t have food
In the midst of all of this I soul search
Embodying the lessons of my old earth
I float outside my body while you sleep there
And travel up beyond where the crows perch…
Its meaningless the things that keep us tied here
When it comes to dying I’m like why fear
The older I become the less attached I’m
Becoming to the world and other pastimes
things I used to love are now child’s play
As I’m getting closer to the child’s way
then you wake up and remind me
That I’d be leaving more than just me behind me
I wish I could
Lose my path and forget my way
But I know too much
Way too much
Too much for the length of the day
Then there she goes…
Every wanderer is not a lost soul
Some of us are travellers in yall clothes
Imagine miracles that you can control
Its easy to attain if you just unfold
But that requires losing what we hold dear
And even I aint ready for that over here
So I’ll just take a piece of heaven’s bright light
And stay down here nomadic in the knife fight
Knowing what it takes the hunter traps game
When I can really just survive on a drop of rain
I could name a thousand other secrets of the universe
But in my tiny world darlin you were first
My head is heavy with the thought of what’s next
Seems like you know it all though, with no stress
Maybe your the final riddle easy……
Unlocking you will prolly free me
